GLACIER'S NPS SEEKS HOUSING The U.S. Government, specifically Glacier National Park's National Park Service (NPS) seeks to lease housing units from West Glacier to Columbia Falls. Studios, 1, 2, or 3-bedroom apartments or houses within 15-miles of West Glacier, MT are being considered. Furnished preferred. Units must have full kitchens, bathroom(s), and living/dining space to house between 1-3 employees, to include families if appropriate. It is likely more than one lease may be negotiated from this announcement to meet the total needed. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, and seismic standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced, single recurring payment, lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100-year flood plain. Kitchens must have major appliances including a gas or electric range, refrigerator, kitchen sink, and microwave oven. Lessor must provide utilities (water, sewer, heat, electricity, and trash removal), parking, and facility maintenance. Single-family homes must include a washer and dryer. Apartments or multiplex units must provide a washer and dryer in each unit or in a shared laundry room accessible to all tenants. Glacier requires the ability to lease units from April to October, typically for a 6-month lease. No lease may exceed 364 days. Glacier National Park can assist with this as needed. Expressions of interest are due by March 10th 2025, and occupancy would begin April/May 2025.
